Who we are?
We are a trauma informed practice seeing individuals ages 18 and older. As an inclusive practice we aim to offer a safe place to heal in a nonjudgmental way. We are a gender affirming and LBTQIA+ safe practice. We are also a BIPOC affirming and safe place with a multicultural staff and provider. Our practice understands that mental health includes HAES (Health at Every Size) which encourages and offers health choices from a weight-neutral place.
Our nurse practitioner is trained to treat mental health symptoms specific to reproductive mental health including: PMDD, perimenopause & menopause, pregnancy, post-partum and comorbid anxiety and depression related to diagnosis such as PCOS and endometriosis.
We are also highly specialized in understanding how chronic medical symptoms and diagnosis can affect your mental health including: history of cancer, IBD, IBS, chronic pain and chronic illnesses.
Many of our patients enjoy seeing one experienced provider for both therapy and medication for either 30 min or 60 min sessions. Our nurse practitioner is also a trained therapist with over 20 years’ experience working in mental health. Not all of our patients receive both services as we also offer therapy and medication separately.
We work closely with our patients to offer support around life changes and transitions including relationship changes, work stress and life milestones. We see several individuals who also work in healthcare and are comfortable treating providers and first responders.
To learn more about our specializations and areas of expertise, please see the list below and we encourage you to read our provider’s bio.
Our staff is compassionate, caring and respectful. We offer both therapy and medication. We also understand not everyone needs both services and can offer them separately. We have a conservative and mindful approach to prescribing.

A Word About Crisis
We are a day practice and do not offer crisis or emergency services unlike larger facilities and community mental health. As a private practice we do not offer services like case management. Please take your individual needs into account before choosing our practice. If you utilize crisis services often we would encourage you seek out a larger practice.
Mutual Respect and Diversity
As a trauma informed practice we have a zero tolerance policy regarding violence, aggression and disrespect toward staff or patients. We celebrate diversity and equality in our community, amongst our staff and patients regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic status or health. We expect our patients and staff to treat one another with kindness and mutual respect.
